We have secured some really great speakers this year. Dr. Marilyn Young will once again present for one day of the conference. Dr. Young helped us figure out QBI when it was first introduced, and the IRS had provided no guidance. Dr. Young is a Professor of Accounting at Belmont University in the Jack C. Massey College of Business, Executive Education. She began teaching at Belmont in 2001 after teaching at Lipscomb University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Tax Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Young has been published in several Accounting, tax, and CPA journals in addition to presenting her research at National Conferences.
Marc Dombrowski, EA will present another day of the Conference. Mr. Dombrowski has practiced for more than 27 years in all facets of representation, from High-level cases to teaching lots of us the Basics at NTPI. He was awarded the 2020 NAEA Excellence in Education Award. Marc presented at chapter meetings and national functions during that entire time. He has been published in the EA Journal as well as several online publications. He has been featured on television and radio, including CNBC.
As always, we will have a grEAt time, learn a little, network, and most importantly, spend some time with our friends and colleagues that we haven’t seen in a bit.
