Dr. Marilyn Young began teaching at Belmont University in 2001.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Tax Accounting from the University of Alabama, and a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.  As a CPA, her industry experience includes work as a Tax Accountant for Deloitte & Touche, and Frasier, Dean, and Howard and as a Tax Specialist in Corporate Finance at Empire Berol Corporation.

Dr. Young has taught both undergraduate and graduate classes in taxation and corporate accounting.  She holds memberships in AICPA, TSCPA, AAA, and ATA. Dr. Young has been published in the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Administration, Tennessee CPA, Economics and Politics, and Journal of S Corporation Taxation.

Dr. Young has been the recipient of several teaching awards including Honorable Mention in the Bea Sanders/AICPA Innovation in Teaching Award and Belmont’s highest faculty honor, The Chaney Distinguished Professor Award, in 2005.

Kevin C. Huston attended Oakland University in Rochester Michigan where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Management, and received a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.  He is a USTCP, admitted to Practice in the U.S. Tax Court as a non-attorney practitioner, and an NTPI Fellow.
Kevin holds memberships in NAEA, NCSEA, and NATP.  He has authored many tax and financial articles for professional journals.  He is the President of Blue Ridge Tax Advisors, Inc. in Asheville, Inc. where he specializes in taxpayer representation before the IRS and State Department of Revenue

Jeffrey A. Schneider is the principal in SFS Tax, Accounting and College Planning Services. His credentials include the EA, CTRS, and NTPI Fellow. Mr. Schneider has been in the field of Taxation for well over thirty-five years. He is the Past President of the FSEA, a current member of the NAEA National Board of Directors, and also serves on the NTPI Planning Committee.
Mr. Schneider attained a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics MST from Long Island University. Schneider is an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College, teaching individual taxes. He has been published in the Treasure Coast Business Journal, and publications for the National Association of Tax Professionals and other publications.
